Hi. My name is Malorie Goodman. I have been teaching Family and Consumer Sciences for the past 5 years, since graduating from BYU-Idaho. I absolutely love teaching and love the subjects that I get to teach. I believe the material that is taught in Family and Consumer Sciences can be very beneficial in helping students live a fulfilling life. I know that I have benefited greatly in putting what I teach into practice in my own life. I have twins and love being able to utilize Child Development principles in my own home. I use Financial Literacy as I track the finances for our family, and Food and Nutrition as I cook for my family. I love my family and feel so blessed to have them in my life! I feel so lucky that I have this opportunity to teach students how to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of their current family and how to plan and prepare to have the kind of family they desire in the future.
Hi! I’m Catelyn Alder. I am a teacher for East Shore High School. I started teaching in Alpine School District 7 years ago. I graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in English Education and a Business Core teaching endorsement. I have always had a passion for education and believe in the importance of building a solid foundation. I love that East Shore Online works to accommodate many different students, from many different schools. I love that we provide a unique online learning experience to meet the needs of our students. I have lived in Utah my entire life. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and enjoy playing sports with our kids in our free time. I love to plan, organize, read, exercise, and spend time with my family.
My name is David Litchford and I teach the leadership class here for East Shore Online. I was a management and communication professor at Utah Valley University for 34 years, and recently retired and just returned from serving a one-year teaching mission for the LDS church at Southern Virginia University. I have degrees from Weber State and BYU and have always loved the world of education. While at UVU, I taught classes in the areas of Salesmanship, Marketing, Advertising, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Public Speaking, and Organizational Communication. I also taught the leadership classes at American Fork High School for eight years and developed the high school leadership curriculum that is now used in all the local high schools. I have been teaching for East Shore Online for the past several years and love working with students. I am originally from a small northern Utah agricultural town called Deweyville and grew up in a family of eight siblings. My wife was a second grade school teacher in the Alpine School District for 18 years and I have three children and four grandchildren.
