The mission of East Shore High School is to improve individual lives by improving individual learning.  The best way to achieve this goal is to meet with each student individually and map out an educational plan.

School counseling services are available from
9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday,
and 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Friday and the day before a holiday.

Full-Time Students: A full time student is a student who will not attend any other public school besides East Shore High School. When registering for full-time enrollment, the student and legal guardian will come to the counseling office and obtain a “Full-Time Entry Request Form.” This form is then taken back to their home high school where the student will formally check out and return to ESHS, pay fees, and begin work.  For attendance and fee requirements, please click [here].

Part-Time Students: A part-time student is a student who is attending another high school within the school district but earning no more than one credit per quarter at that high school.  When registering for part-time, see home high school counselor.  Your counselor will change your schedule and discuss with you the packets that would best suit your needs. S/he will then give you a part-time entry request form which you will bring to ESHS. For attendance and fee requirements, please click [here].

Additional Credit: Students who are attending another high school and earning more than 1.0 per quarter and attending ESHS are considered additional credit students.  Attendance is not required but highly encouraged. Please see home high school counselor for entry request form.  This can then be brought to ESHS registration. For attendance and fee requirements, please click [here].

Adult Students: Adults who have not graduated or taken the GED can pursue educational opportunities through Mountainland Regional Learning Center located on MATC campus.  This service offers GED preparation and a high school completion program.  For additional information, please call 863-7620.

Additional Services:
