Hello, my name is Christie McClelland and this is my seventh year teaching for Alpine School District.  I have taught both math and science classes and love teaching high school students!  I graduated from BYU with a degree in Physics Teaching and a minor in Astronomy.  I spent time as a research assistant collecting and analyzing data from the campus telescope.  I love learning more about astronomy and am completely fascinated by all of the new discoveries made (new discoveries are made all of the time)!  I love all things to do with space, including sci-fi movies.  I love being able to help students to discover more about our universe!

Hello! My name is Haylee Ferguson Stewart, and this is my seventh year working for Alpine School District. I worked four full-time (and one part-time) years in the classroom at American Fork High School, took a year break, and then started developing curricula and teaching for East Shore Online. I graduated from BYU with a degree in biology teaching. I love teaching and science! I have a particular passion for plants and insects. I believe science literacy is important for students to make informed decisions about their health and about the world around them. My husband, Allan, and I have two children. We love to play outside, garden, learn new things, and explore the world together.
